Meghan Markle has been sticking to the royals’ elegant style lately following her wedding to Prince Harry, but this weekend her messy hairstyle and casual look were back as she attended her first Wimbledon as Duchess of Sussex on Saturday to cheer on Serena Williams.
Markle wore a blue-and-white striped shirt and wide-leg cream pants from American brand Ralph Lauren and sat with Kate Middleton in the stands—their first joint public appearance together since the wedding. Markle’s hair was styled in what had become a signature look before she married into the royal family: a low bun that lets her shorter strands fall artfully around her face. Laid-back California Meghan is back.
Her new hairstylist, George Northwood, is on the same wavelength when it comes to casual hairstyles. “George is very likable, very cool and his signature look, which is slightly messy and a little undone is perfect for her,” a source who knows the hairdresser told People.
Her sister-in-law Kate wore her usual polished look: a below-the-shoulder blowout with drop pearl earrings.
